Identifying the development of synchronised and modern infrastructure as a long-term strategic priority and a breakthrough for reorganising development space, Ninh Binh province is prioritising resources for modern transport projects capable of strengthening intra-provincial and inter-regional connectivity while opening up new development opportunities.
Ninh Binh province has allocated up to 19 trillion VND (approximately 745 million USD) in public investment capital for transport infrastructure in 2026. Facing mounting pressure to meet disbursement targets, provincial authorities are urging investors, contractors and local administrations to remove bottlenecks related to land clearance, construction materials and project implementation in a bid to accelerate key transport projects.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked ministries, agencies, and localities to promptly address obstacles facing major transport projects to complete all set goals as there is a significant workload ahead, and only less than four months remaining until the end of 2025.
